We ride paved paths through the Sonoran Desert at Apache Wash in North Phoenix — up to 11 miles through cactus gardens and wildowers with panoramic views of Scottsdale, Cave Creek, and beyond. Easy-going, scenic, and genuinely beautiful. A perfect option for families, casual riders, or anyone who wants the desert experience without the technical terrain. 90 minutes. You do not need to be an experienced rider. Our guides are trained mountain bike instructors who will meet you exactly where you are — whether that means teaching you the basics from scratch or pointing an experienced rider toward the most challenging terrain in the Valley.

Your guide’s only job is to make sure your group has an extraordinary time. That means the right trail, the right pace, the right stops — and the kind of local knowledge you simply cannot get from an app or a map.
A credit card is required to hold your date and guide. Prices do not include taxes, a small online booking fee, or gratuity. We recommend 20%.

We understand that travel plans can change, and we do our best to be fair whenever possible.
Pickup and drop-off from your hotel or resort is available. We collect guests 30 minutes before departure. Prefer to meet at the trailhead? Detailed directions are provided.
